This made me smile. It’s the exact opposite of the experience I had with my first child. A planned hospital birth turned into a 2 week early surprise unmedicated home birth alongside my midwife and 2 paramedics who refused to take me to the hospital in the ambulance because everything went way too fast and they were afraid I would have the baby in transit.

Life tends to laugh at the plans you make :)
