This piece. Makes me sleep better at night. Speaking from experience, it’s easy for us UX designers to fall into this anxiety loop, particularly when you are working in a small company or a startup – you’d be more likely be expected to be a mystical generalist, at the same time you’re also wondering if there’s a magical, comprehensive checklist of things we have to follow to build a structure around our learning points to become a “pro”.
Thank you Fabricio for bringing this discussion to light. Topics such as this are particularly important around these regions (i.e. Far, far away from Silicon Valley) where everybody is still figuring out the exact definition of UX and how to work/train designers.
