According to another publication (Intelligencer), four inches of sea rise would occur if “Larsen C … survive(s) for eight to ten years, according to the scientists’ computer models, a period regarded as the maximum life expectancy for even the largest of icebergs.”

So that factor alone is cause for concern, no? What would have been the difference if Larsen C had stayed put?
