So you are arguing semantics. Here is the thing... Laws mean nothing. They are just words on a page. The only thing that matters is power. That is how it always was and it will always be. If you have the power to enforce laws then you give them validation. If you don't have the power to enforce them or if you chose to enforce them selectively then laws are meaningless. Laws are enforced selectively all the time. It is up to the mood of the Judge.
