Mr. Dixon has done a commendable job at not researching Mr. Johnson’s positions, instead replacing them with his view of what “extreme” libertarian philosophy represents.

Mr. Johnson and his running mate, Mr. Weld, have both state a favorable view of the government protecting civil rights, noting in the CNN town hall that it is one of the legitimate duties of government. Mr. Johnson has also broken ranks with many libertarians who believe private property rights alone will protect the environment, noting that the court system is not efficient enough to guarantee this.

Of course, I agree that on many issues, Sen. Sanders and Mr. Johnson are clearly at odds compared to Sen. Sanders, which I personally think Mr. Johnson the better candidate. Sen. Sanders supporters are free to vote for Jill Stein, who has recently demonstrated she doesn’t know what Quantitative Easing is, which is disturbing as hell.
