Today, the 15th.October, the Birthday of A.P.J.Abdul Kalam, the Former Indian President and a Great Scientist, Popularly known as the ‘Missile Man’ of India and the ‘People’s President. In 2010 United Nations declared to celebrate his Birthday as World Students Day.

“DREAM is not what you see in sleep, is the thing which doesn’t let you sleep. You have to DREAM before your Dream comes true. Dream,Dream,Dream. Dreams Transform into Thoughts and Thoughts result in action.”
 — A.P.J.Abdul Kalam.

This was the call of this noble soul to the young generation. He inspired and motivated the School and College Students to achieve greatness in life.

We should keep learning and keep growing. Because those who continue to learn and progress will always have great future. All the great achievers are great learners. I’m a perpetual learner. I’m an eternal student . For this I Celebrated this World Students Day today. What about you?
“Each day learn something new, and just as important, relearn something old.”…. Robert Breault.

Once I met a Sardarji {Sikh Gentleman}, aged about 90 years in one of Arfeen’s Seminar. He inspired me by saying that his never-ending passion for learning had brought him to the seminar. I was awe-inspired by his spirit.Learning is a life-long process, indeed.

“ You can chase your Dream at any age; you are never too old,”says DianaNyad.

Nola Ochs of Kansas,US, on May 14, 2007 became a Guinness World Record Holder as the World’s Oldest College Graduate at the young age of 95 and also completed her Masters at the age of 98. Hats off to this lady.

You are never too young or too old to start anything.

“All of us do not have equal talent. But all of us have equal opportunity to develop talents…. Thinking is the Capital, Enterprise is the Way and Hard-work is the Solution.” — A.P.J.Abdul Kalam.

There are two types of Geniuses, says Malcolm Gladwell, ; Prodigies like Pablo Picasso and Leonardo da Vinci , who bloom fast and bright. And Late-Bloomers who struggle through years of experience and failure before they achieve greatness. Well-known Colonel Sanders is an example of Late-Bloomer, who sold his first KFC Franchise at the age of 65. Patience and Perseverance in right direction pays.

Another example is Fauja Singh, 105, from Punjab, now migrated to London. Fauja Singh, popularly known as ‘Turbaned Tornado’, is the Oldest Marathon Runner of the World. He took up the Sport in his Eighties. For him age is just a Number. At 93, Fauja Singh, the Living Legend, father of four and grandfather of thirteen, was signed by ADIDAS for its Advertising Campaign, “Nothing is Impossible.” Truly, nothing is impossible. You should believe in yourself. You should have the guts to challenge the impossibility. Impossible is always I’mpossible.

Human Capacity for Excellence doesn’t dry with age. You are never too old to start following your Dream.

Another example is Hulda Hoehn Crooks {1896–1997} of California. She became the Oldest Woman in the World to Scale Mt.Fuji, the highest Peak of Japan at the age of 91. She started learning mountaineering in her sixties. She was affectionately known as “Grandma Whitney”, as she climbed the Mt Whitney, the highest Peak of US 23 times in between 65 years and 91 years of age. She showed the world that mental, physical and spiritual health is attainable at any age.

Dream Big in life and don’t settle until you achieve it. Perfection is not what a human needs to excel. All you need is the Passion to achieve it. Confidence, Hard-work and Resilience is what pays.Truly failure is not when you fall short of achieving your Goals. It’s when you don’t have any Goal or Dream Worthy Enough.

Remember the adage “Build your Dreams, or someone will hire you to build theirs. All the Great and Super-Successful People didn’t get there by building others’ Dreams, working for others.

“Learning gives Creativity.Creativity leads to Thinking. Thinking provides Knowledge. Knowledge makes you Great…. Confidence and Hard-work is the best medicine to kill Failure. It will make you a successful person.”
— A.P.J.Abdul Kalam.
Universe loves rewarding people in pursuit of their Dreams. Universe support the sincere followers of their Passionate Dream. At the beginning you may be resisted by your loved ones. If your Dream and Passion doesn’t coincide with that of your parents, they will try to dissuade you and sabotage your Dream. Because they, unfortunately, believe that their own passion and ideology is the best in the world and at least their children should follow it. Don’t give up. Don’t give in.

“Look at the sky. We are not alone. The whole Universe is friendly to us and conspires to give the Best to those who Dream and Work Consistently to achieve it.’’ — — A.P.J.Abdul Kalam
