Dr. Theodosis Mourouzis: An Innovation In AutoBlock

We are proud to announce that Dr. Theodosis Mourouzis has joined the AutoBlock as an expert cryptologist and information security professional. Dr. Theodosis Mourouzis has a remarkable educational background and holds a BA/MA in Mathematics and an MSc in Pure Mathematics from the renowned University of Cambridge. He also has an MRes in Security Science and a Ph.D. in Information Security with Specialization in Cryptography from the University College London (UCL).
But Dr. Mourouzis’s impressive educational background doesn’t end here. His interest in areas such as symmetric cryptanalysis of block ciphers and hash functions, algebraic encoding of complex structures and applications of blockchain technologies, and password analytics led him to be a research fellow at the UCL Centre for Blockchain Technologies (UCL CBT).
He is also the programme director of MSc in Business Intelligence and Data Analytics at the Cyprus International Institute of Management (CIIM). There are even more feathers in his cap; he has also worked as a visiting professor at the Innopolis University (Russia Federation).
He also works as a consultant in the areas of information security, best practices of ISO 2007, cryptography, the blockchain, ICO crowdfunding, and data analytics.
Dr. Mourouriz is also the managing director of a non-profit organization, Cyprus Blockchain Technologies, founded by CIIM, UCL CBT, University of Nicosia, Oracle and major local banks and financial institutions including Hellenic Bank, Bank of Cyprus and Cooperative Bank. This organization was created to promote blockchain technology in leading institutions.
Many renowned private and governmental organizations all over the world have hired him as a consultant. His exceptional knowledge in blockchain and cryptography allowed him to travel to various countries including Israel, United Kingdom, Canada, United States of America, Switzerland, Australia, Gibraltar, Russian Federation, and the United Arab Emirates.
Lloyd’s Maritime Academy has hired him as a shipping analytics expert to develop curriculum on big data shipping analytics. In fact, he has been involved in advisory roles to around 20+ ICOs organizations and helped them raise more than $100M during crowdfunding campaigns.
