What will the trend of the BTC price be in 2020?
Probably all cryptocurrency followers have wondered and are still wondering how the BTC price will be in 2020 (will it go down? Will it remain almost constant or will it grow?).
On the net, forecasts go from the most disastrous to the most optimistic ones.
A possible analytical response, but still completely uncertain, could be given by examining the trend of the minimums and maximums reached by the BTC from 2010 to 2019 or from the data shown in the following table, a table taken from IlMao of the Telegram Divitaliani group.
As we can see the trend of the minimums and maximums reached by the BTC in the three-year period 2013, 2014 and 2015 is comparable to that of the three-year period 2017, 2018 and the just-ended year 2019. In fact, in the last indicated three years, the lows are increasing and the maximums decreasing.
The year 2016, which divides the two three-year periods, was characterized by a minimum and a maximum approximately doubler than that of 2015, the latter year which concluded the first of the two three-year periods described in this brief examination.
Therefore, even if there is no certainty, in 2020 the minimum and the maximum of the BTC could be about double compared to those of 2019. This means that in 2020 the minimum price of the BTC should be around $ 6,700 and the maximum at around $ 28,000. I believe that none of the current players involved in the cryptocurrency market would mind such a maximum value.
A further possible analogy between the years 2016 and 2020 could consist in the halving of the BTC. In 2016, in fact, it was the last halving (the second) that will be repeated in 2020. On the other hand, it is possible to note that both three-year periods in question were preceded by the years in which the halving took place (in the order 2012 and 2016).
In 2021, continuing to consider parallelism between past and present, the price of the BTC could rise again reaching a really high value to be estimated through a simple proportion.
It’s sure that the comparison of the two three-year periods also shows that the average value of the minimums has considerably grown. This means that new capital entered then it remained in the market and gradually formed new growing supports for the BTC price.
The rise in the price of the BTC is generally accompanied by great importance in the press. Theoretically, this creates a positive trend for the whole crypto world but also for some other coins that have solid projects behind them.
