Mahindra & Mahindra said it has expanded the costs of its traveler and commercial vehicles from this month by a normally of one percent, between the range of Rs 2,300 to Rs 11,500 (ex-showroom). Mahindra & Mahindra, Chief Executive Pravin Shah said , “We have been keeping down on the price hikes for some time but now it has been required to incompletely counterbalance the effect of rising input costs.”
Mahindra Group, has additionally expanded costs of its tractors effective from November 2014 in Farm Equipment Sector. The increment is in the range of Rs 6,000 to Rs 10,000 depending upon their models. The company said that the cost hike has been required to increase in merchandise costs and conversion costs.
Mahindra offers a range of traveler vehicles including the Mahindra Scorpio, Mahindra Bolero and Mahindra XUV500 and the commercial vehicles like Mahindra Alfa and Mahindra Gio. It has a range of tractor models like Mahindra Arjun and Mahindra Yuvraj.
