Overview

This is a game created to play over zoom using the screen share whiteboard function. It is similar to Pictionary, but has the opposite roles. It can be played with 2+ people.

Rules

The rules are relatively simple. There are 2 players, one is the drawer and one is the director. The drawer has 2 minutes to draw the item that the director is telling them to draw, while also trying to guess what it is they are drawing. The director can use any household item around as inspiration- a bottle, desk, chair, house, lamp- but nothing too simple, like just a circle. In addition it is easiest to use items that can be drawn with simple shapes, that way the director can tell them what shapes to draw. The whiteboard screen share function on zoom can be used to draw the object.

Example

For example, let's say the director wants the other person to draw a house. Once time starts the director may say "Draw a square. Now draw a tall rectangle inside the bottom of the square. Draw a triangle on top of the large square with the point away from the square”. At that point the drawer may recognize that they are drawing a house, shout “HOUSE!”, and then they win if it’s within the 2 minutes. Otherwise the team loses. To be more competitive, this game can be played with team or with a set bank of items to draw. Although the simplest version is to just play with two people.
