Why being Latin American is not as bad as it looks like

If you read the news of this part of the world you’d probably think life down here sucks, in the next lines I will prove to you it does not suck at all, in fact you’ll realize that living here could be the best thing may ever happen to you.

First thing you should do is to delete every memory you have of our last 30 years of history. We are no longer the mafia cartel home. We are no longer the unwalkable region. We are no longer the region with highest homicide rate region.

We are much more than that, we are a prosperous bunch of folks that day by day live with the objective of leave behind those horror times where fear was the main actor. Now, we give our best in every activity we work on. We look forward to become an example to the world of self sufficiency and courage. We harvest from dry lands, from where no one sees potential. And last but not least, we are the happiest region on earth despite all bad things still remaining (yeah, we are flawed, and we expect to keep it that way). That “flawness” feeds us to keep improving.

So, ask to one person you know has been at any city of Latin American, how did he/she like that place and come down here and live it by yourself!!
