You Can Now Whitelabel Your Enzyme Vault!

Today, Avantgarde is very excited to announce the release of our new whitelabel service, which has been a highly requested feature from many different Enzyme users. As a user, you will now be able to customise your vault, host it on a private URL and bring your own branding to life across your landing page.

Before we dive into the details, let’s start with a bit of clarification. Enzyme is an entirely permissionless and decentralised asset management protocol, meaning anyone can connect to the protocol, spin up a vault and run your own strategies.

As the core contributor to the Enzyme protocol, Avantgarde utilises our experience in both DeFi and traditional finance to build products and services on top of Enzyme, the DeFi Operating System.

In this sense, Avantgarde offers premium features to Enzyme users that choose to opt-in to these add-ons and services. Our new whitelabel feature is an optional service for vault managers that want to take advantage of these customisable features.

Why would I use this whitelabel feature?

At the time of writing, there are over 1,100 vaults on Enzyme’s Ethereum deployment and more than 440 vaults on Enzyme’s Polygon deployment. This means that, as an asset manager, you are competing against more than 1,500 vaults for investor attention and interest.

Competition is healthy, but sometimes you want to stand out from the crowd. At present, all vault managers on Enzyme utilise the protocol’s front-end system to showcase their vault to potential investors. This means that you’re locked into Enzyme’s own branding and style (we think it’s pretty good, but a bit of customisation never hurts!).

Moreover, if you are an asset manager running tried and tested strategies on Enzyme, you may want to keep your DeFi activity private from other managers. Why? Well, this will help ensure you keep your bespoke DeFi strategy private as a competitive edge.

So, for all these reasons above, we are happy to introduce the whitelabel solution.

The benefits of whitelabeling your Enzyme vault with Avantgarde

Avantgarde’s new whitelabel functionality has been one of the most frequently requested features from our users, so we’re thrilled to finally be able to bring this to you.

Let’s take a look at what the whitelabel will allow you to do.

• Logo and branding — First up, the most noticeable visual change with this feature is that it will enable you to add your own logo, custom colour palette and branding. This is particularly useful for asset managers that operate their own fund with a custom logo and brand world, or simply for managers that want to create a greater level of distinction in their service offering.
• Customise vault URL — Vault managers will be pleased to know that you can now add a custom URL to drive traffic onto your unique link. This means that potential investors can now be redirected straight to your vault landing page, avoiding the hundreds of other vaults on the Enzyme platform that may divert interest away from your vault.
• Control the investor journey — With the whitelabel feature, vault managers can now better control the customer journey, nurture leads and better convert them to investors.

How does the whitelabel feature work?

Good question! We have created a step-by-step demo video that guides you through the entire process which you can watch below.

To make this extra clear, we have also included these steps below in written format.

To begin, there are two prerequisites required to create the whitelabel page. First, you need to have a vault. If you haven’t yet created a vault, you can follow the steps to create one in this video here (‘create a vault’ starts at 6:05). Secondly, you will need to create an account on Enzyme and register with your email address. You can sign up for an account here.

Once you’ve followed these steps, you will have your account and vault created. Now, you are ready to enable the whitelabel feature and customise your vault.

To do this, simply navigate to ‘My Account’, scroll down the page and look for the ‘My Pages’ box.

You will see a button labelled, ‘Create Page’. Click on this and it will enable you to name the page, insert a custom subdomain and choose the vault you want this page to be allocated to.

If you have more than one vault, all of these vaults will be visible in the ‘Choose Vaults’ dropdown menu, so be sure to select the correct vault that you would like to whitelabel.

Once you have populated the form with the page name, subdomain and chosen vault, select ‘Create Page’. This will take you back to your account page where you are now able to edit your chosen vault via the ‘My Pages’ box.

Simply click on the “Customise” button and you will be redirected to your custom vault page.

Here you have the ability to change your logo, update your background and customise the theme and colour palette of the vault display page itself. This opens up a range of new possibilities for vault managers that want to create a clear point of difference and better attract and nurture potential investors.
