Prayer for Openness to Adapting Technologies

Father, in our time, as in all times, you are calling many to the kingdom of Heaven, where you live with your Son, our Lord, Jesus Christ, in the unity of the Holy Spirit.

Help us to be instruments of your call to the immense and growing human population of our world today. Like people of Jesus’ time, these people are like sheep without a shepherd unless they come to you.

Send your Holy Spirit to give us fresh eyes to see the needs and the opportunities for the Gospel in our time. Give us open minds to take up and use new communication technologies that will broadcast your Word far and wide, even to the ends of the earth.

Let us be inspired by those who have adapted the technologies of the past for the proliferation of the Gospel.
