“自首”声明 / A Confession
A “Confession” to Chinese government
Last week, after being detained in some secret places for six months, more than ten Chinese human rights lawyers have been formally arrested by Chinese police on charges of subverting state power (see Guardian report: http://goo.gl/1SxRrm). I feel deeply concerned at this horrible news, especially after I heard that two legal assistants only at the age of 24 were also arrested on the same charge.
As their Chinese contemporary, though I had no honour of knowing them, I recognised their beliefs, and appreciate what they have been devoted to. Besides, reckoning that I may also possess the ability to do the some legal assistant work, I do not rule out the possibility that I might participate in the similar human rights projects in the future.
I am aware that by admitting these facts, I may “cause harm to the Chinese government, and hurt the feelings of Chinese people” (watch a Swedish NGO worker confessing on Chinese Central Television after being arrested in China: http://goo.gl/fSR5Jk). Hereby I invite the Chinese police to come to Budapest, and bring me back to China for investigation, considering that they were able to cross the border and abduct a bookseller in Hong Kong (read here: http://goo.gl/mXLnrx). Meanwhile, I promise that during the next few months while I am staying in Hungary, I will carry my passport with me wherever I go. In case that the passport would still be left in my drawer after I have been brought back to China (as what happened to that Hong Kong bookseller).

(If you would like to support the arrested human rights lawyers and the Swedish activist, take a similar photo and post it on FB, or maybe on twitter, with #bringmetoChina. Don’t worry if you do not have a Chinese nationality, it will work out LOL. Most important of all, hope to hear your voice and have your support! I would be less scared for posting it if there are pictures all over the place :)
