According to my daily dairy, it’s Day 409.
I woke up around 4:45 am, feeling pleased with myself for waking up so early, but I stayed in bed instead of getting up. By the time my family came downstairs at 5:10 am, I had planned to offer my prayers. Unfortunately, the bathroom on our side was occupied, so I had to wait. Instead of staying awake, I made the mistake of dozing off again. I regret not getting out of bed when I first woke up, knowing that it would have prevented me from falling back asleep. Eventually, I woke up again around 7:15 am, got out of bed, and started my day. I got freshened up, had breakfast, and then wrote in my daily diary, reflecting on my thoughts and goals. After that, I left for the office at 8 am, arriving there around 8:30 am. Once at the office, I had some tea downstairs in the mess before diving into my work. The day went by quickly, and I left the office around 1:10 pm, reaching home at 1:35 pm. After getting freshened up, I had lunch. During lunch, I received the news that my friend, who had been waiting for her documents from the embassy, had finally received them and was heading to Hungary on the Stipendium Hungaricum scholarship. I felt genuinely happy for her; she was young, talented, and truly deserved this opportunity. However, at that same moment, I couldn’t help but feel a pang of disappointment in myself. I hadn’t made it, and I knew it was because I hadn’t put in the proper effort or conducted thorough research. This realization hit me hard, making me more determined to take life and my decisions seriously. I knew that staying stuck in this cycle of waking up, going to a job I didn’t enjoy, coming home, helping with chores, and then repeating the process was not the life I wanted. I decided it was time to break free from this routine. After lunch, I powered up my laptop and began writing this blog. I had just started researching master’s scholarships when my family asked me to help with some household chores.
By the time I was done, it was already past 5 pm. I got freshened up again, offered Asar prayers, and had tea while sitting with my family. We started planning for our Umrah trip, and even though it felt early, we began packing.
After Maghrib prayers, I went for a walk and pushed myself to do 30 pushups, splitting them into two sets of 15. After returning home, I got freshened up and offered Isha prayers.
The days were getting shorter, and the nights longer, making the time for prayers feel more compressed. After dinner, I continued with my packing for Umrah. Even though it felt premature, my family insisted we start early. Once that was done, I powered up my laptop again, posted this blog, and made a firm decision to go to bed early. I planned to wake up early the next day and begin my routine with a renewed sense of purpose and discipline.
That concludes the day’s chapter.
Until tomorrow, remember to clap and share your thoughts.
Best of luck on your journey, and always stay consistent — after all, you are the author of your destiny.Follow Here for daily updates about my routine. Enjoy!!!
