Listen with Compassion and Act with Love

Debbie, I was going to try to write a blog post inspired by yours, but everything I try to write does not come anywhere close to the wonderfulness that is here. Your post really reminded me of Stuart Shanker and Susan Hopkins’ messaging through The MEHRIT Centre. It’s about being “kinder than necessary,” and maybe reframing the situation to see things from a parent’s perspective. Thank you for the important reminder to do so, and the great information about how to gradually move from being the voice for children to giving children their own voice.
