I can see why some of the folks here find it a tad bit offensive. Firstly, there are lots of ‘Leo’ mixed up and thrown in the same basket; it is reasonable since it is hard to individually address each sort. I believe one needs to deconstruct their own version of Leo from this superset and take it from there. Secondly, some of the idealism is very strict; yet, it is precisely what makes it interesting, ala carte - stirring the proverbial pot. There is nothing wrong with criticising a system as long as it goes hand-in-hand with crediting the same system where/when it is due. I guess/hope that is the sentiment you wanted to bring to the fore. Yet, since most tend to reflect their own image in the face of criticism, it is easy to get carried away, take it personally, and judge the content out of context. The reactions to this piece are way more exciting than the content itself!
