“All Lives Matter” — Poem

The militant mind rest unwillingly

Razor sharp focus mentally

So much going on in society

Please stop, don’t try me

I raise my fist in the air

A symbol of honor, power, and prestige

Boots hitting the streets

Geared up in the best army fatigue

Violence seems to disturb us all

To the degree that we feel tha pain

Agendas being pushed by the media

Until we see the blood spill again

Is there hope for our nation

Or will another be killed

But from what I’ve seen

People holding AK’s

At 47, or 27 it doesn’t really matter

Another life taken away

Another dream obtained and shatter

The rise of an empire

Fallen because of it’s pride

I have a right to be a citizen here

A chance to grow and survive

All lives matter!

Wither black, green, or blue

We should support each other

Because we all will go through

All lives Matter!
