While looking for SaaS ideas .. I came across a lot of YouTube videos and blogs about the “Best” SaaS ideas to build in 2024. For example,

It makes sense, actually, with these constant mind-blowing updates with Large language models, these ideas are becoming pretty feasible.

However, a common question in the comments section was — “How” to turn those ideas into real products

Plausible Solution

Building SaaS product with AI — enhancing productivity and quality.

Here’s a nice read on the impact of Copilot— What Can Copilot’s Earliest Users Teach Us About Generative AI at Work?

70% of Copilot users said they were more productive, and 68% said it improved the quality of their work.

There are already couple of AI app-builders that can help us with SaaS app creation.

Today, it’s becoming unmistakably clear that the apps of the future will be constructed through conversation. Not through drag-n-drop, and not through coding.

When building SaaS products from scratch, mastering both frontend and backend development is crucial.

A typical workflow involves starting by quickly creating a full-stack prototype with authentication.

Once that’s ready, focus heavily on marketing and spreading the word.

Databutton as a full-stack App Builder

Databutton, an AI Agentic framework, can make this process easier.
a platform that simplifies app creation, making it conversational and operationally-ready. It introduces a unique approach with AI agents, collaborating in the app development process.

These agents work together, utilising the latest AI stacks to seamlessly integrate Python and ReactJS. Think of these agents as your development companions, guiding you through each step, allowing you to focus on refining your ideas and solving important problems.

Here’s a few of the quick prototype build with Databutton, just via prompting.

Also, here’s a story about how the founder of the London-based marketing agency Fifty Five built his SaaS using Databutton.

Back to the Initial Idea from the Internet Search

Disclaimer — the app is not fully built yet. I’m documenting the entire app-building process while creating it from scratch.

Day 1 — From Idea to Initial Planning

Looking for ideas was the most time-consuming part.

The idea I chose came from this video. “An AI-based content creation tool that streamlines the process of creating content for busy individuals or companies.

Below is the UI built in less than 5 minutes using Databutton.

Here’s the prompt I used,

Prompt 1. All I need is a URL input box and a submit button. I would like to have the entire UI in white. The button and any widgets should be in black. Text color in white.

Prompt 2. Can I have a light and dark toggle for my UI?

In upcoming posts, I’ll further update on how the app development process goes.

Stay tuned :)
