Patrick, thank you for taking the time to write about the challenges with social media. The article is very well written. I would like to disagree with you just a bit. Even on Facebook, you can find groups of people that are like minded, in the sense that they have the same goals as you, but think differently from you and can point out your flaws in a constructive way. This enables you to better yourself and grow into the person you want to become. I’m working on creating a video and podcast series on the field I’m in. Every time I create a video, I share it with my Facebook group. Some of the most difficult feedback has helped me the most, as I would never have even understood what I needed to correct had I just been around yes men. These world class people are out there, even on Facebook. You just have to look for them. I wish you best of luck, and I look forward to reading your next article!
