I think this is the problem with these JS libraries for so many designers “get the package from npm” is actually a multistep process that first involves setting up Node.js, then installing npm etc etc etc.
I learnt PHP back in the early 2000’s and then it was simple as “create file.php and upload to your php web host by FTP and test in the browser”. Which is how we were *all* building websites back then so the step up from building html pages to building php pages was next to zero.
Now it’s all this local configuration stuff to get it working locally then figuring out how to “deploy” the entire site to a remote server.
The fact of the matter is, for designers (and newbies) this stuff is not easy. It’s layered with complexity.
