As a young Christian, Evan Griffin has always had a passion for helping others. Griffin wants to get into Higher Education field after he graduates college. The Resident Assistant (RA) position at Montclair State University was the stepping-stone to his future goal. Resident Assistants are chosen through a large application process and a series of interviews, which is usually a month-long process. The job contract is for a year, beginning in August and ending in May of the next year.

However, Griffin, a junior, missed the application deadline for the position. He wanted to apply to be an RA during his senior year. Suddenly, one month after the past deadline, Griffin received a Resident Assistant job offer from the department of Residence when an RA was unexpectedly terminated from the position. Griffin was granted a once-In-lifetime opportunity.
