No you didn’t offend me and I don’t think you’re “caping” for the woman at all. I see your point. I understand your point that she may have been providing information because she wanted to alert me to the fact that the store is now carrying more shades for darker skinned women, which is not bad information to give. How I think of it by working in retail because I’ve worked in retail before you never want to say too much to the consumer because you don’t know how they will take it and in my opinion she said too much. I was just browsing and looking at the products and being approached by a sales woman after I said I was just looking and then she tells me oh we are now providing more darker shades out of the blue, it was a surprise. Of course that’s just my view of the situation. I generally appreciate and respect your response. You didn’t offend me at all.
