5 Ideas, 5 Problems and 5 Opportunities.

Read the last 5 by 5 by 5

At the beginning of May I started writing down 10 ideas a day before realizing halfway through the month that they were just ideas, not solutions. From there I started to write down 5 problems and 5 opportunities for the future.

Now I post 5 ideas, 5 problems and 5 opportunities daily because what’s the use in keeping them to myself with no criticism?

Ideas

  1. Job board for entry level positions in your city/country for graduating students.
  2. VC economics — a website that visualizes how VC investments get returned. E.g input $V for a W% stake, sell for $X and profit $Y etc.
  3. Minimalist package design.
  4. Collection of minimalist stories.
  5. Curated list of companies focusing on genetics, AR, agriculture etc. Markets that are harder to win in but have more impact on society.

Problems

  1. Currently too many students are focusing on being a software developer, and not expanding hardware skills.
  2. Finding or building a team of developers and marketers.
  3. Learning how to make a simple AI program in python.
  4. Finding a small, cheap hardware project to work on.
  5. Small businesses (butchers, fruit shops etc) don’t have access to developers/IT help unless they know someone or an employee knows what to do.

Opportunities

  1. The majority of problems in the future won’t be able to be solved with just a bit of software. In most cases it will be hardware or a combination of science and hardware that will be the most effective solution. Currently too many students are focusing on being a software developer.
  2. Being able to manipulate, correlate and gather data in the future will be huge.
  3. Working with Government to create smart city technology.
  4. Creating consumer products for smart homes and offering installation.
  5. Educating people outside of technology studies of what industries will be arriving soon.

If you found some of these cool or accurate, give me a heart ❤
