5 Ways Apple TV Can Avoid Being Another Apple Music

For a long time Apple had a simple strategy. Wait for someone else to create a market, with products that had lots of potential but little consumer appeal. Once the stage had been set, Apple would swoop in with a beautifully designed product with a consumer friendly interface, and the product would quickly become the object of everyone’s deepest desire.

That plan seems to have backfired with Apple Music however, as the alternatives, Spotify in particular, were both well-designed and had been around for a while, developing a large and loyal fan base. While Apple Music is far from terrible, there’s nothing magical about its interface. Even Apple’s hardcore defenders have been hard-pressed to find serious advantages over the competition. It’s a bit of a black eye for Apple and the first time in a while a brand new Apple product has received so many unenthusiastic reviews.

So the question now is will the soon-to-be-reintroduced Apple TV be another Apple Music or…
