Participation in OKEx Moscow Meetup

The largest exchange OKEx organized a Global Meetup Tour 2018 and as a part of it held an event titled Blockchain is the next page of the Russian economy.

OKEx is one of the TOP-3 leading digital asset exchanges that provides professional financial services to traders around the world, using blockchain technology. There are 85 pairs available for trading on OKEx, the total volume of transactions reaches 160,000 BTC per day.

I got to meet a lot of interesting people from the blockchain industry who shared thought and ideas about the future of the Russian economy.

I also got to hand out with Aworker Advisor Vasily Kuznetsov, whom I accidentally met there. Thanks to OKEx for a great event that you’ve organized!

Thanks for inviting me to this event!

Publication on The Startup

My article “Multi-chain Data Protocol” was published at tech portal The Startup.

Description: The recent increase in reported incidents of surveillance and security breaches compromising users’ privacy call into question the current model, in which third-parties collect and control massive amounts of personal data. Popular cryptocurrencies have demonstrated in the financial space that trusted, auditable computing is possible using a decentralized network of peers accompanied by a public ledger.

Giant companies appreciate personal data like no one do because the data gleaned from your online habits can be used to attract advertisers.

By using decentralized systems, people have the potential to decide who can obtain their information, and how much it is worth. For example, if you are a high-flying professional who has registered with a recruitment marketplace, this company could make other users pay for access to your contact details and your full profile. Therefore, the company opens a site or application and checks all information stored in distributed ledgers.
