Bride’s Mom Invited The Homeless To A $35,000 Wedding Feast For A Special Reason

It was a very different and pleasing scene for all at the Citizen hotel, Sacramento, but for this former — bride — to — be young lady. Quinn Duane, was all set to be a beautiful bride and with the wedding date just a week ahead, everything looked perfect. All until she got the devastating news, the groom to be had gotten cold feet and had decided to call the wedding off.

As any bride would feel, Quinn Duane was also heart broken and devastated. While everything was planned for a lavish wedding, which costed $35,000 including the banquet hall, food, decorations and many more, her family stood by her and decided to do something good out of it.

What they did next? It’s EPIC!

It was then when Kari Duane (Quinn’s mother), came up with a brilliant idea! Although she felt bad for not being able to save her daughter’s wedding, she wasn’t the one to let everything go waste. She decided to invite the homeless of Sacramento city for the reception dining. As the original reception was intended to serve 120 people, there was plenty of food for all.

Take a look at this video!

The lesser fortunate people of Sacramento came to the reception with their families and shared their experiences of dining at a 4 star restaurant. The former bride to be could not be at the venue, which is quite understanding.

The reception hall was previously set to get the blessing for the newly wed, but now, Quinn and her family got the blessings instead, probably much more heart felt, by the people who ate a stomach full of good food for once.
