The Apple Design Awards “highlights excellence in app and game design”, an award consisting of 10 solid aluminium cubes.

Tim Cook entered the room as an expected surprise, and exited through a path made up by Apple Store staff in orange shirts. Catching selfies along the way.

Labs

Don’t go to sessions, go to the labs. A place where developers, and scholars in particular, gets a chance to chat with Apple developers and designers about their apps and get feedback and assistance solving issues.
