The company’s platform relies on 2 key pillars: human data (clinical & genetic) + cellular models to discover new biologic states, novel targets, and useful biomarkers. The output is new therapeutics and pathways for drug development. And doing this all at the largest scale.
Insitro used its platform early-on to close partnerships with Gilead (for NASH) & BMS (ALS/FTD), and are also advancing a wholly-owned pipeline mainly around metabolism & neuroscience. The company is a case study for the value of large/rich datasets built for machine learning.
