Does inner beauty really reflect your face?

It really does.

And science backs that up.

Case closed.

Studies conducted both in the lab and real settings consistently show that raters align their decision on attractiveness judgments in line with personality features if they have a clue.

It is not a sympathy rating, they do not pity you, you are really seen as physically attractive.

We also know that there are other nonphysical features that affect attractiveness judgments; such as, intelligence.

Who can deny his charm?

For the sake of this discussion, let’s stick with the personality. So Hollywood, can you please start revising the scenarios in which “nice” girls wait in their sides patiently to end up mediocre guys?

Take a look at: Kniffina & Wilson (2004) The effect of nonphysical traits on the perception of physical attractiveness: Three naturalistic studies

Or: Kaufman (2014) Is Kindness Physically Attractive?
