What constrains you, if anything?

The same boiling water that softens the potato hardens the egg. It’s about what you’re made of, not the circumstances.
~ Unknown
When you take off the layers of how you are supposed to show up in the world, what is underneath? What is the beauty within that wants to burst out and feel real? What are you made of?
To have faith is to have wings.
~ Peter PanAnybody who has been seriously engaged in scientific work of any kind realizes that over the entrance to the gates of the temple of science are written the words: Ye must have faith. It is a quality which the scientist cannot dispense with.
~ Max Planck
Here is the question for you:
What constrains you?
Is it how to pay the bills, your career, your relationships, obligations, debt, never graduated from school, depression, loneliness, not enough time to think, not enough movement, your car broke down, you can’t afford that vacation, you’re not good enough, nobody cares about you, you have to take care of everyone else and don’t have enough time for you, your kids/parents/family/partner don’t understand you, you can’t get funding for your idea, you wish you lived somewhere else, if only you could …, and anything else that may get in your way?
What is constraining YOU, if anything at all?

What are real constraints and barriers? And, which are ones that are in your mind, based on fear or something else? Can you separate them and examine them, and ask them questions?
Now, imagine for a moment, if you had no constraints. no problems. no headaches. no drama.
Zero.
None whatsoever.
Nada.
Nothing.
No constraints.
No burdens.
No obligations.
No shackles.
What would you do?

Can you feel it? Can you make it real?
That’s what I am working on every day. Co-creating the world I want to live in is not easy but definitely worthwhile, with no map or manual to follow. Understanding our constraints allows us to see them with new eyes. I am trusting the teachings from the book and trusting the currents. Some days we need to set our direction, feel real, and have faith.
As @tamcdonald just shared with me in a chat, Love is so beautiful because it encompasses so much. Pain, joy, hurt, kindness, compassion, empathy, sorrow, etc. Without feeling, we don’t experience love.
To gain sanity, we must recognize our humanity and remember how to feel deeply so we can connect with ourselves and others, like never before. It’s our time. Reach out when you need. There is a whole world supporting each of us when we see with new and ancient eyes.
What if we chose win-win as a way of life instead of our conditioned win-lose structures? What if we knew how to lift ourselves up, so we can lift each other?
Welcome to 2017 where we have 365 days to play, create and connect.
