Kindness can be defined as the quality of being friendly, generous, and considerate. Affection, gentleness, warmth, concern, and care are words that are associated with kindness.

Aristotle defines kindness as “helpfulness towards someone in need, not in return for anything, nor for the advantage of the helper himself, but for that of the person helped”

It is the human nature that he is attracted towards someone’s affectionate behavior. It is the common desire of every human to be loved by others and be respected by others. If someone show kindness toward him through his kind words and behavior, he feels happy. The response of even the enemies can become kind in the reaction of kind behavior. The biggest example is the PROPHET HAZRAT MUHAMMAD (S.A.W), who did this throughout his life.

I tried to implement the KINDNESS in my personality. I thought to talk to the people around me in a very effective manner. No matter they are workers, vendors, colleagues or friends. I changed my behavior towards them. I tried to become more receptive and responsive towards them whenever they talked to me. For example, I thought that I would avoid phone whenever anyone will talk to me. I will listen to them in a much active way.

I gave a small treat to my friends to show my affection and love towards them. It was very interesting experience, because first time they listened it from me that Come! I want to give you people a small party. Firstly, they were not believing that actually I am saying this to them. So, the response was like, Chup kr jaa yaar. Lmbii lmbii na chor. this and that. But finally I made them believe on me and we went out for the party. It was an amazing time. We enjoyed a lot. They were much happy for this. Fr the first time, they thanked me by heart. haha.

Life is a very small period to live. It will be ended after a very short time. So, we should value the time and enjoy our life by distributing happiness around us. Showing kindness with just a smile can make the other’s day beautiful.
