Sharing the 6 tips with your classmate

I met with one of my best friend Hina Ghulam Ali, we both departed from UET Lahore last month. during four years we been very deep friends as her department was besides my department and we also share same route so in four years we spent lot of time in healthy discussion.

This Monday luckily we get encountered as she was in university regarding her thesis work meanwhile i was too there to collect my documents from admin office.

I started by introducing Amal, I shared some of its principle, its vision and mission and how all this that will eventually leads the young students of Pakistan toward the road of success .this time I also suggested her to join Amal Fellowship and she looks very interested while i was telling her all about Amal and its principle its vision towards bright future of young Pakistan students.After that i stared telling six tips that i recently learnt in my online course So this meeting was very special in lots of ways.

Yet she is also in search of a good job, meanwhile she also wants to pursue higher studies as well, so i started sharing Amal tips with her.

Tip 1. Do an internship before pursuing a higher degree to confirm if you like that field/industry

She told me that she wanted to pursue Masters before doing any job in any organization, i told her that it is not compulsory to go for higher education, the maximum education required in any industry is up to graduation so for now first you should do an internship if still job you didn’t find it will leads you towards your interest.

After that i shared next five Tips to maximize and to manage career.

Tip 2. Don’t do PhD if you want to be an entrepreneur or work in corporate sector

Tip 3. Spend at least 6–12 months in your first job

Tip 4. Put your time in

Tip 5. Don’t talk badly about the company or about your boss

Tip 6. Take control of your relationship with your boss and team member

She told me that I don’t have any plans for doing a Phd. I just want to get married :) as soon as possible . I want to enjoy working in corporate sector. I have seen many people having a PhD degree either they are teaching or are doing researches if

learning always comes from small steps…put your full efforts to learn things as these learning are the door step towards your success. It is about learning the work from grass root level. If you do not know the significance of all the little things done in an organization, you might not understand the idea of the whole process. 
We should always ask to know the importance of things. The bigger picture means the whole infrastructure of the organization. In order to understand it, you must know the value of everything done in organization.
Always be very clear about your role in an organization. Do not mix it up with others and also do not miss your responsibilities. It will also be helpful if you mention your tasks and their importance in your CV.

she asked me what does mean by put your time in in tip.4 ,I stared explaining that fresh graduate face this issue regarding Grunt or dirty work and serious project can often be discouraging.

Every one starts out doing grunt work till trust is proven

she looks very satisfied after listening all the tips and decided to first get some work experience then i will move on higher study.
