Ever felt like you are stuck in the middle of an endless void? The feeling of helplessness because you have been static for too long? You are longing for progress but you can’t seem to get your feet off the damn ground .

You are feeling withered and exhausted without making any noticeable changes . It is quite depressing and demotivating to be honest. And in most cases people give up before they can reach their goal .

Our problem is that we crave instant reward . We are hasty and impatient and obviously pessimistic . Our mindset is messed up . We put continuous effort for a while and then give up before we reach any evident progress.

just because it’s taking time does not mean it is not happening

Now to the main purpose of this article . WHAT IS THE MEASURE WE SHOULD TAKE?

The first step is assess the situation . Identify the root cause of your problems and your inability to proceed . Ask yourself basic questions… like LITERALLY ASK THEM . Why isn’t it working? What am I doing wrong? Am I even doing my best? Do I even truly want it in the first place?

Journaling is a game changer . It gives you clarity. Self-awareness and clarity are the most important tools in taking decisive steps .

For instance, In my content writing journey I felt stuck , almost paralyzed . It demotivated me a-lot and when I reflected a little on it , I came to know it was the Lack of enthusiasm . I was doing it half-heartedly , I was not into it completely and dealing with it like it was a chore .

Nothing will be handed to you on a silver platter , you have to work for it

You have to develop interest and liking to excel at something .

Take small steps , yes small Baby steps . What your require is not radical change … instead You require consistent change . It may not be evident at first but it gradually starts to show effect . The key is small and consistent steps .

Develop habits that help you stick closer to your goal . Like if u want to improve grades develop a study session of a mere half an hour at first and gradually increase the duration . PUSH YOURSELF A LITTLE .. AND BY PUSH I MEAN PUSH NOT SHOVE.

what you need the most are two things “clarity and consistency’
