Seeing as it’s Reading Festival week, I’m treating Wednesday like Friday and posting up a bit of a music I’ve recorded recently. This week, I’m not going for an original, I’m posting up a cover that I did as part of my PledgeMusic campaign. This cover of ‘Never Say Never’ by Romeo Void was recorded in my office/studio and sent out to the lovely Luc Bernier, who helped make the EP happen all the way from Montreal, Canada.

I think the original is wicked and I actually really love how the final version of the cover came out — it’s very unlikely to make it to a release at the moment as it stands, but I wanted to get it out there for a few people to listen to…

In other news, my show with Séan McGowan and Happy Accidents in a few weeks at Sebright Arms is painfully close to selling out. There’s like 5 tickets left and I’ve finalised my full band lineup for the show. I am super excited and getting really nervous now I know the room is going to be full. Grab one of the last tickets below!
