The Pitch Logo

This year, GoDaddy is a proud sponsor of The Pitch, a SheKnows media initiative that aims to “increase the ranks of women-owned businesses by giving entrepreneurs strategic access to female consumers via our massive marketing and media channels”. And we couldn’t be more thrilled to be a part of it.

Our very own Lauren Antonoff, who heads up Presence and Commerce for GoDaddy, will sit on the judging panel for The Pitch. She’s looking forward to hearing each of the five finalists pitch their vision for an innovative new small business.

“At GoDaddy, we’re on a mission to help women break down barriers, achieve their full potential, and get the recognition they deserve. The women of SheKnows Media are doing exactly that, and I’m excited to hear what creative ideas come out of this summer’s live Pitch competition.” ~ Lauren Antonoff, GoDaddy

The Pitch 2016 Finalists

With The Pitch emcee Sallie Krawcheck, CEO and co-founder of Ellevest, Lauren will join five other accomplished female entrepreneurs onstage to offer the finalists live critiques and ask them critical questions.

“2016 is an amazing time to be a female entrepreneur,” Sallie says. “Startups with female leaders are more successful than those run only by men; there are growing networks to support us; the costs of of running a business are coming down; and there are more sources of funding available than ever.”

The time is ripe for The Pitch.

We’ll be streaming the live version of The Pitch here from 9 a.m. to 10:15 a.m. (PST) Saturday, Aug. 6. Be sure to join us. Until then …
