Gravitational fields have been discovered and here’s what startups can learn from them.

Stephen Hawkins beautifully explains the importance of Einstein’s discoveries in ‘A Brief History of Time’. He describes how so many scientists across the globe are working on his theories such for a long time.
So, It was a proud moment to see their hard work paying off. We are understanding universe better. I wish space travel/ teleportation soon becomes a reality. One strange thing stuck me here…
Start-ups are so much like science. You experiments with customers and products and strategies instead of chemicals or machines, wishing your assumptions to come true.
Here’re a few things we can learn from science and scientists.
Logic will take you from A to B. Imagination will take you everywhere:
Einstein imagined what it took for scientists 100 years to prove. Logic will simply tell you to imitate the most successful start from Silicon Valley. Imagination will make you create what no body else could. Observe people, look for problems they are facing and create a solution they’ll love.
The next Steve Jobs will not create Apple. The next Zuckerberg will not create Facebook. They’ll create what world will need 10 years down the line. .
Patience:
A physicist didn’t wake up one morning screaming about gravitational movements and next day gravitational waves were observed. It took patience. Every single movement must have been observed. Every single abrasion must have been studied thoroughly and reported. Keep making stuff. Make them better. Sell more. You just have to be right once.
When things don’t happen, remember that it takes 6 months to build a Rolls-Royce and 13 hours to make a Toyota. Keep working until you get it right.
Hope:
Frankly I would have given up. A crazy scientist said something and the whole world goes mad. But scientists were hopeful. They are hopeful. Now they believe that this might answer some of the toughest questions regarding human existence. Hope is the most beautiful thing you can gift your employees with.
Just because something is not happening right now, doesn't mean it will never happen.
Make clear observations, take small steps and understand every single movement.
One day you’ll find people talking about your product. Just smile and move on. :)
