And Sex education is generally considered taboo in India The problem is the parents, who are undereducated themselves, don’t understand what healthy sexuality looks like in general, and especially in childhood, don’t know what’s age appropriate

Sex schooling basics may be coated in health class, but your teen might not hear – – or recognise – everything he or she desires to know to give rise to tough selections about sex. If parents do not teach their pupils about sex and sexuality, then they will learn about it from somewhere else, and an alternative to instil family moralities may be missed. Teens are still very private people. However, speaking about sex early increases the chance that teens will approach parents when difficult or dangerous things come up. So go and start the conversation if you are a parent.
