Blanc had met with MIT President Rafael Reif about dropping out. “He basically gave me the ‘you gotta eat your vegetables speech’ about taking the General Institute Requirements,” said Blanc. Reif recently spread the word on campus that he’d like to meet with anyone thinking of dropping out. He’s been very interested in improving the undergraduate experience.Alex List8 min read
