YELLOW SCREEN ON 13 PRO MAX.

# HOW DOES THIS HAPPEN.

This Happen after IOS 16 Update. The complete yellow screen issue on the iPhone 13 Pro Max, and Other specific models is primarily attributed to a hardware malfunction, specifically a defect in the display driver IC. This integrated circuit is responsible for managing the display’s color and brightness, and when it fails, it can cause the entire screen to turn yellow.

Several factors can contribute to the failure of the display driver IC, including:

  1. Manufacturing Defects: In some cases, the IC may have inherent manufacturing flaws that lead to its premature failure.
  2. Physical Damage: Impact or excessive pressure on the display can damage the IC, causing it to malfunction.
  3. Electrical Overstress: Exposure to sudden power surges or fluctuations can damage the IC’s delicate circuitry.
  4. Heat Exposure: Prolonged exposure to high temperatures can weaken the IC’s components and increase the likelihood of failure.
  5. Aging and Wear: Over time, the IC’s components may degrade due to natural wear and tear, eventually leading to its failure.

When the display driver IC fails, it disrupts the color signals being sent to the display, resulting in a uniform yellow tint across the entire screen. This issue is not related to software or user actions and is primarily a hardware-related problem.

# HOW TO SOLVE THIS ISSUE.

The hardware solution involves replacing the faulty display driver IC, which is a small chip responsible for managing the display’s color and brightness. To do this, you will need to carefully disassemble the iPhone, remove the old IC, and solder a new one in its place.

The repair process is delicate and requires specialized tools and expertise, so it is recommended to seek assistance from an authorized Apple service provider or a qualified electronics repair technician. Using genuine replacement parts and following proper repair procedures are essential to ensure a successful repair and avoid further damage to the device.

OTHERWISE:

Jumpering through two points on display.

Jumpering the two points essentially bypasses the faulty display driver IC and allows the display to receive the necessary signals directly. This can restore the display’s functionality and eliminate the yellow screen.
