Agree with different points in the article however except if we estimate that the tech sector is isolated from other macro economic factors, it is almost impossible to forecast the impact of such an event.

A weak GBP against the USD will increase costs for most software companies and won’t necessary correlate with a higher demand for UK services abroad. In the same extent, a stagnating economy will limit purchasing power and thus limit the demand for highend tech products / services impacting growth, profits and potentially damage the ecosystem.

So I don’t think anyone should venture into giving negative or positive signals at this state as no one can predict — rationally — what would be the outcome of a hard brexit.
