AIESEC, I have always always always believed in you and the power you hold, and I always thought I was very connected to the why, how and what. But today I see you in an entirely different light. Today I see you as a reason for my existence. I see you as my purpose. I see you as something that has the power to reinforce belief and faith in abstract concepts like belief and faith themselves. Yes I see you as the most indispensable aspect of my life. The reason behind this is, has and will always be change and the impact that change brings along with it. Today a random person I didn’t even know existed some 2 weeks back, called me, and thanked me for introducing this amazing concept to him. He termed his LTS as an experience that ‘brought a dead man back to life’. The way he faltered for words and choked on the emotions he felt but couldn’t express, connected me back to the ‘why’ in a way nothing else would or could ever have. The very joy of being able to make just 1 person smile is so inexplicable. I never understood fate or luck or any such concepts, but suddenly I feel that I came here for a purpose. That purpose was to find myself through AIESEC. Thank you so much everyone, for being there, for letting me experience this amazing concept called AIESEC. Thank you for letting me be a part the change makers cult. Thank you fate, for taking me where you took me; because I’d rather be here than anywhere else.
