Pondering over abstract concepts like good and evil, a plethora of thoughts cross my mind as I stand here in wonder of the absolute dichotomy. The line that defines the good and the bad is so distinct and yet so blurred. The subtle battle of good versus evil has been waged periodically since earliest times. And man has since time immemorial, swayed between the delicate balances that hold the two worlds apart. In those phases of indecisiveness, there have been times when evil has risen like a dark serpent from the shadows and clutched the world in its iron grasp. These are the times when the knights in shining armour have had to step up and wage a war; a war like no other; a war against evil.
The reason I so explicitly state that it is a war like no other is because every time the black and the white clash, the result is always red. Red is the colour of celebration, the colour of victory, the colour of joy and yet the colour of sacrifice. The victory is always for the greater good, this battle is always for humanity, and this fight is always one lined with hardships and sacrifice. Only a noble few have the courage to fight a battle for the good against the evil, sacrificing everything they have in the way of what is just and what is right.
As I stand here today, I pay tribute every single one of the noble and blessed souls, who sacrificed everything they had in the way of God to fight the battle of the just, right and good versus evil and triumphed thus leaving behind a few lamps burning for the lost and confused humanity to follow and take guidance from. May god help us to keep their sacrifice alive and follow the path of good for all times to come and may he grant us enough sense and sensibility to distinguish between the two. Amen
