Aztec Code NFT Introduction
Aztec code is a NFT project of 1000 2D matrix symbology codes. All codes are unique and randomly generated. An Aztec Code symbol can encode up to 3.832 numeric digits, 3.067 alphabetic characters or 1.914 bytes of data. This is the first Web3 scannable NFT on the Ethereum Blockchain.
Why codes?
Who said code symbology can’t be ART? Aztec Code was developed in 1995 by Andrew Longacre and Robert Hussey and the symbology is in the public domain. The code’s name is derived from the resemblance of the central finder pattern to an Aztec pyramid that is seen from above. The idea is to create the first scannable barcodes on the Ethereum blockchain that contains only numbers. The only way to find out what number you got is to decode the Aztec. Any scanner can do the job.
The Symbols
The two types of Aztec Code symbols are as follows:
- Compact: A compact Aztec Code symbol has two white and two black finder pattern rings (in addition to the center square), one to four data layers, and no reference grid.
- Full-range: A full-range Aztec Code symbol has three white and three black finder pattern rings (in addition to the center square), from 4 to 32 data layers, and a reference grid.
Roadmap
Aztec code has no roadmap, no discord only codes. Holders of the first NFT barcodes will be part of a social and supportive community, with holding rewards & future airdrops. Choose your code wisely…
