Hi Jyssica Schwartz Congrats on creating the course. I know for a fact how hard it is to create one.

I didn’t market an online course before. But I have observed how top medium writers and bloggers do it:

  1. Publish free content & get momentum
  2. Build an email list
  3. Study the audience needs and create a course accordingly
  4. Once the course is ready, they email a set of their subscribers to get early feedback.
  5. Share the news with their email list and across their social media
  6. Optional: Add a call to action section in all their stories and blogs

Although this is a proven strategy it doesn’t have to be this way. For instance. when I started ghostwriting, I didn’t even tell people I was a ghostwriter.

Someone checked my Medium profile and emailed me. they liked my work and they wanted me to write for them.

I am now a full time marketer at a tech startup. In a way, my work on Medium helped me get the job.

Visibility is more important in this digital age.

There is a gazillion online courses about publishing a book. Think about what will make you stand out: do you have a powerful life story? Are you the author of a best seller? Do you have fresh perspectives on the topic?

Remember people write checks with their hearts and justify it with logic.

I highly recommend you take a digital marketing online course

Feel free to reach out if you wanna discuss further. Happy to help :) Good luck :D
