I started setting up the lab in the morgue basement yesterday.

After some thought, I settled for a 2 table arrangement, with one for paper/office work and another for electronics:

The instruments are held in a clever “rack” consisting of a shelf put on its side.

Pictured is a DMM, a benchtop voltmeter, an analog scope, my PSU, my function gen and a soldering station.

The light is just a bunch of LED strips on a piece of plexiglass, fed from a standard 12V LED supply.
