SINATRA AND FOOD

Today I had the pleasure of visiting Hoboken in New Jersey. The fam and I decided to go check it out mostly because you can photograph the entire NYC skyline from the shore. The view is magnificent, the only issue we had was the fog due to a mostly cloudy and at time rainy day. So once the photos were taken, we decided to walk the town. We started on Frank Sinatra Drive and made our way up a couple of blocks to Washington Street. The apartment buildings are nice and the neighborhood is alive with joggers and foodies.
The entire street is vibrant with people having a good time and eating at the many restaurants and bars. It felt as if we passed 4 spots to get a bite per block on both sides of the street. It has a mini New York feel without the maniacal traffic or the overpopulation.
Right after that we made our way back to Sinatra Drive and ended up eating at The Ainsworth. The food was amazing and the service was fantastic. I will be going back to see the rest of Jersey but I have to say that this was a good start. My advice is to find a neighborhood that you like and walk it in and out. Don’t just drive through, you might just miss out on something. Hoboken will be on my list of hangouts from now on, if you ever get a chance go check it out!
