I totally agree.

Taken the context of the entire piece she gave me the impression of someone who likes to have her partner below her. That she should be on a pedestal and that he should be a bank, a workhorse or a joke. And nothing more. Personally, I’m a little tired of that myself. And it always starts like her article is written, as if it were something innocent. Invariably as the relationship goes it becomes apparent that girls that have those ideals generally think of themselves as better than man, just as you do. Better emotionally, better with details, better with kids, etc, etc ad infinitum.

I don’t need a woman to make my life complete and I don’t want one that thinks she needs me to make hers complete. I want a self-contained individual who merely enjoys spending time with me and all my flaws. I’m tired of expectations and limitations and all the bullshit that goes along with it.
