Your fathomless sea

Between our babbled sentences
too many blanks
I shot, swallowed my tongue;
dried
like the million words in the dictionary
i knew not a tenth
but even tattooed on my hair strands
they swayed, limp, limbo, lusted, limited
not enough
though i dreamt
for them to be your liberation
how then should we know us?
not the babel fishes gaping wild
nor these kisses, their violent tenderness
not in earnest humor
only by these holes we make within
only to be whole we sin
