Unease
Apr 4 · 1 min read
Today clouds stretch across the sky
grey, dark, and heavy
they let an ominous growl,
like an iron ruler rolling
on a dusty wooden floor.
Today the winds have stopped,
they don't swim, they don't play,
afraid of some unknown;
they have left the leaves hanging,
morose and desolate.
In this solitude I wander,
Drenched in the twilight blue
I wonder,
She could have won over me,
Why did she lose?
